And the honest answer is no; which is totally normal.
We all go through varying emotional states on a daily basis. The skill is identifying the emotional state we are currently in and if it’s a helpful one to stay in e.g
😃 happy – holding onto and then really feeling that emotion
😡 angry – understanding why we are angry progressing it and then enabling us to move out of that state; so we don’t hold onto it or express the emotion in a harmful way to others.
The skills we teach children and young people enable them and us to tap into tools when we need them.
