Hi I am Miranda, co-founder of Happy Confident Kids.

I am passionate about well-being and having seen the transformational change in one of my own children hugely inspired to get more children access to the transformational tools we teach.

I have a huge variety of experience in growing & promoting businesses as well as delivering complicated projects and developing teams, but above all else I have a passion for nature and vision to get more children & young people learning in and connecting with nature. I want to make generational change.

As part of my work both in the community and with Happy Confident Kids, I won a Head Outside Award.

Where it all began for me…

Whilst working on a project to plant trees for the Common Wealth Games in 2023, I saw how little many children connected with nature, the touch of soil was unusual for them. What I also saw was the growth in them in just a short space of time, when they were enabled to engage with nature, and both the joy, and calm this gave them, especially for children with SENDS.

Coupled with this I had taken my daughter to see Laura for 1-2-1 Kids Coaching and I saw first had how the Happy Confident Kids tools can transform a child (and me too) in just a few sessions. With anxiety on the rise in young people Laura and I knew we needed to do something different and after many walks and discussions; this is where the inspiration for our now award-winning In the Wild sessions came from and the road map of workshops that has now been created. It’s been amazing to see the idea come to life and the impact it is having to the participants.

Some of the recent projects I have been working on:
